About | Sosta Argentinian Kitchen — 21+ Years on Rundle Street, Adelaide

A family, a fire, and two decades on Rundle Street

Created in 2004, Sosta brought a fresh, contemporary take on Argentinian cooking to Adelaide's east end, and quickly became one of the city's premier food venues.

Red brick, dark floors, and the aroma of a kitchen hard at work.

Set in the east end of Adelaide, the Sosta room is warm and inviting. Exposed red-brick walls, dark floating floors, white linen and ember light. It's a space built for long tables, shared plates and unhurried evenings.

Using the best of local produce, the menu has been kept deliberately simple, to replicate the cooking of any home in Argentina.

Twenty-one years, unchanged

01

Owner-operated

The same family has run Sosta since day one, and the same kitchen team for over 21 years.

02

Local producers

We proudly support South Australian and Australian growers, choosing the best of local produce.

03

Built in house

Our signature wood-fire grill was designed and built on site, and it's fired every single service.

04

Three traditions

Argentinian asado at the core, with Spanish and Italian influences across the menu.

“We've been cooking over charcoal on Rundle Street for over twenty-one years. All our meats are cooked the way we always have, over fire.”
